Whatever Happened To America? traces a movement to create world government that began before the United States became a nation, with the formation of the group known as the Illuminati that was founded in 1776, a few weeks after the Battles of Lexington and Concord. When the group was outlawed in 1804, the Illuminati went underground, fracturing into ideologically distinct groups. Whatever Happened To America? follows one of those groups, the affluent Jacobins, to the United States. The book traces the history of that movement until, in 1861, the Jacobins controlled not only the Congress of the United States, but most of the industrial and banking establishments not only in America but Europe as well. Whatever Happened To America? details the erosion of the rights of the people of the United States at the hands of wealthy transnational industrialists and bankers whose plan, for profit, is to redistribute the wealth of the United States to the emerging economies at the expense of the working class of America. The book examines how and why the transnational industrialists plan to "reinvent" government at the global level.
