Congressman Mike Rogers [R-MI] chastises the Democratic Party for HR3200 (now replaced with a new 1,500 page, as-yet-named healthcare plan on July 18, before the recess that brought the nationwide protest. Rogers told the committee he was disappointed over the lost opportunity for Democrats and Republicans together to solve a huge problem in health care that affects 15% of the American population (using the Democrats own statistics.

Rogers quoted a former president in his opening words by saying, "Abraham Lincoln once said you can't make a weak man strong by making a strong man weak." Rogers added, "So, what we've decided to do today is abandon the very principles of America by saying, 'you know what, its so hard, and its so difficult, we're going to punish the 85% of the Americans who have earned healthcare benefits as part of their employment, and we're going to punish them and the employers who give it to them to try to cover the 15% that don;t have it.'"

From a rhetorical perspective, that's what the spinmeisters claim that's what Obamacare is about. Or, more appropriately, that's what the politicians want the public pop-and-stance to appear to be. If that was really what the politicians wanted to do:to fix healthcare and give the American people the best healthcare system in the world, they'd do precisely what Congressman Mike Rogers of Michigan suggested: they would fix the 15% that's broken by providing healthcare to US citizens who lack it by letting all medical care facilities provide all needed to those without insurance and write it, dollar-for-dollar off their taxes. 100% of the people would be covered without billions, if not, trillions of dollars of cost. When the article, "Demographic Euthanasia" is completed this weekend, it will be linked here. This will be a long and very frightening article. You need to read it in order to understand why the Obama Administration is so insistent in creating a health system that includes a "public option," since that is what will give the federal government control over who lives in this country...and who dies.
